We just want to say thank you so much for the wonderful day we had on Feb 16th. It was everything and more we could hope for.

Everyone was so impressed with Kinnitty, the food and the staff and while we are sure everyone gets complimented on their wedding I really feel that our compliments were very genuine! A lot of people were surprised given how close to Kinnitty we are that they had never been so hopefully you will also get some restaurant business from it.

Dear Andrew, Cavan & all the Team in Kinnitty.

We just wanted to say a HUGE HUGE thanks for all your help in organising our wedding on new years eve.

From the minute we stepped into the castle you made us feel right at home & could not do enough to make us relax and enjoy our stay.

The accommodation was fabulous & all our guests commented on how special it was. No request was too big for your team - from finding bandages for the girls, moving all my stuff on the morning of the wedding to Cavan providing us with a tea party on the floor - as we had stuff everywhere!! We cannot commend the team enough.

As for the food- all we can say is wow! The meal the night before was beautiful & the service was excellent. On the day of the wedding, the food was beautiful and presented so nicely. Your attention to detail is phenomenal. The service on the day of the wedding was outstanding &your service staff ensured that everything ran smoothly between courses.

I cannot thank you enough & it's hard to put into words just how much we enjoyed our stay with you in Kinnitty. The three nights passed in a blur but the whole experience was unforgettable. Kinnitty will always have a special place in our hearts.

We had the most amazing wedding day in Kinnitty, every member of sta

ff throughout the hotel cannot do enough to help. From the girls that delivered breakfast to a very excited bride and bridesmaids in the morning, to the bar staff everyone went above and beyond the call of duty!

All our guests were delighted with the castle and everyone has since been full of praise! Dinner the night before was amazing, as was the meal on the day. The lady who looked after the top table on the day deserves a special mention, she was amazing! She is fabulous at her job!

Cavan, we have so enjoyed dealing with you throughout the planning stages. Literally nothing was too much trouble, your 'can do' attitude is literally amazing! Still can't believe we never managed to find anything for you to say no to.

You are a voice of reason and an island of calm on what can be a very stressful morning. We picked our wedding album photos last night and you are in!
I don't know how many wedding dresses you have hitched up and helped to carry to the great hall but you are a pro!!

The day itself ran like clockwork and I can't even imagine how much work that takes! It looks effortless but I don't even dream it is! I can't believe it's all over but we have amazing memories of Kinnitty and it's staff for many year to come.

We wish Kinnitty all the success it deserves! If anyone ever needs a chat with a previous bride and groom point them in our direction! Bye for now but looking forward to celebrating our first anniversary with you already

We got married in December and had our reception in Kinnitty Castle.
What I can only describe as the best day of my life was made ever better by the absolutely fantastic and wonderful staff of Kinnitty Castle. I honestly cannot praise the staff enough from our wedding co-ordinator Cavan to Andrew & Simon (who took fantastic care of us & our guests on our second night in the hotel) to all the waiting staff who served the dinner with such speed and efficiency that my guests are still raving about the excellent service they received. I have never heard so many compliments about the quality of the dinner and the wonderful staff all of which is truly deserved. It is a fairytale location and we really were treated as royalty. We stayed in the castle the night after our wedding and the service and food was just a perfect as the wedding day itself.
I cannot recommend Kinnitty Castle enough as a wedding venue, it really is a dream come true venue and the banqueting hall is so magical it took our breath away.
Thank you so much for being part of the most special day of our lives and for making it all the more special by having it in Kinnitty Castle. Cavan, as our wedding co-ordinator you were absolutely brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. You were so accommodating with all of our requests, a true gent!
We can't wait to get back to visit soon.

October 2012 - Lisa & Stephen Shiels

Our wedding was on October 19th 2012 and it was the most amazing day from start to finish. Our nerves were wrecked and we truely didnt relax until we got to Kinnitty and knew we were in the safe hands of Cavan and Andrew. Cavan was our wedding co-ordinator, he was brilliant from start to finish. Nothing was a problem, we emailed and called many times before the actual day and he was always available and exteremly helpful.

On the day itself Cavan and staff were amazing, they were so polite and helpful constantly checking in with us to make sure everything was ok and going to plan. The venue looked just magical with every one of our requests in place. The food was beautiful, and everyone commented on how good it was to us afterwards which was such a comfort. The whole day flowed seemlessly with the staff working hard in the background but never showing stress in their attitudes. I really cant emphasis just how nice and helpful they all were on the day. All the fires were lit in the castle which just added a cosy feel which we all loved. I was initially a little worried that the castle would be chilly in places (which cant be helped in older buildings) but everywhere was perfectly warm which was brilliant given it was freezing outsite.

The night went perfectly, the afters food was again so tasty. Our guests particularly loved the mini fish 'n' chips cones. There was plenty for everyone. After all our music was over we all decended to the Dungeon Bar. The guy behind the bar was great fun and didnt mind our singing attempts, I think I might have even seen him join in :)
From start to finish Kinnitty was the perfect venue for our wedding, the staff, food and atmosphere were all perfect. We cant wait to make a trip back.

People who were guests at the wedding are still talking about the day the venue and the service. We are very grateful to you and all the staff for our wonderful day the lead up to it was very Professional with the tasting.
The building back drop has given us brilliant wedding photos the staff were lovely to us all. You listened very well to what we wanted on the day and it was all executed with first class professionalism and the food standard was fantastic.
I would personally take any calls for perspective couples and give the whole package the highest Recommendation. As a couple looking for the special day you surpassed all expectations.

We got married on the 8th of September 2012 in Kinnitty Castle and had the most amazing wedding day we could have ever hoped for.
From the moment we arrived in the Castle everything we wanted and needed was taken care of to the highest standard.
All of the staff from the reception to the bar and the banqueting hall were absolutely fantastic. The venue is so magical and that alone in itself created an amazing atmosphere. The Castle has amazing individual bedrooms and we had the whole place to ourselves the night of our wedding which made it so unique and personal. The most talked about element of our day from guests was how amazing the food was and many commented on how it was the best food any of our guests had ever had at a wedding. We had a fantastic experience in Kinnitty Castle from the moment we met Cavan our wedding co coordinator to the moment we left. Cavan was always just a phone call or email away more than willing and able to help me out with any of my requests, his warm and friendly attitude made my wedding planning so much more relaxed and I knew that we would be taken care of 100%. There was not a single issue the day of our wedding everything went so smoothly and it was the best day of our lives. I don’t think we would have had this magical experience anywhere else but in Kinnitty Castle and I would not hesitate for one second to recommend Kinnitty and its wonderful to staff to any bride to be!

Hi Cavan, Andrew and all the Kinnitty Castle Staff,

I just wanted to touch base with you guys now that we are back to reality and all the wedding hype is well and truly over Myself and Seán would just like to express our gratitude for all the effort that was put into making our wedding day so special. We really had the most perfect day from start to finish and the majority of that was down to you guys, several people said that it was the best wedding they had ever attended! From the moment we saw Kinnitty Castle, we knew that it was the only place we wanted to get married and we could not have been happier with the level of service we received from every member of staff.
We got so many compliments from our guests on the food in particular, (The fish and chips in particular were a big hit!) but also the atmosphere, the rooms and the service from the staff. We wanted to say a particular thank you Andrew and Cavan, who were amazing in the run up to the day, going over every little detail, but also to Una and Simon, who looked after us so well on the top table and even brought Seán out a fresh dinner after his went cold when he was speaking to some of the guests! I can't believe it's already a month since our wedding day! I just wanted to send a little note of thanks for all you did to make it the most memorable, beautiful and the happiest day of our lives. Immediately after, and ever since, our big day, we have received numerous compliments on our choice of venue. Our guests were so impressed with the beauty of the venue, the excellent quality of the food and the friendliness and accomodating nature of all staff. I sincerely hope you pass on our thanks and compliments to Anthony for the meal (it was divine!) and all staff in the castle for their efficiency and, particularly, for being so good with the children that we had present on the day (their parents were extremely impressed and grateful). 
On a personal note to Cavan and Andrew, we simply couldn't have had such a fantastic day without you. From the first day we met, you both made organising our wedding day not only easy, but thoroughly enjoyable. Despite the fact that you do this sort of thing a number of times a week, we never once felt as if we were just another day's work for you. We genuinely felt like we were dealing with friends, and that is a testament to how good you are at what you do. It was an absolute pleasure to deal with you both and, although it doesn't seem nearly enough, Anthony and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything.

We got married in Kinnitty Castle Hotel on February 24th 2012 and it will be a day I will never forget - it was the best day of our lives and it would have not worked out as perfectly without being in the perfect fairytale venue! We got engaged in Kinnitty Castle Hotel the previous August and even before then we knew that should the time come, there would be nowhere else we would like to have our wedding. In the lead up to the big day we were dealing with Cavan who was just amazing from the first to the last meeting. He is such a nice guy, so friendly, welcoming and the best part is that he is also amazing at his job. Cavan helped me work though everything down to the finest details and at every stage he made me feel assured that the day would be perfect. On our numerous visits to the castle before our wedding day, we had a wonderful time and Cavan was always on hand to answer any questions or listen to all my strange requests which there were plenty!! The day itself was just more than perfect from start to finish. We had a civil ceremony in the Banqueting Hall and it was magical - all candlelight and so romantic. From the point of saying I do to the end was amazing and the staff and service in Kinnitty was out of this world. The food was so delicious and all the guests commented on it being the nicest food they had had in a long time at a wedding. The chef and staff did an amazing job and even catered for a few guests who had special dietary requirements. Nothing was too much hassle!!! The banqueting hall again looked like something out of a fairytale for our reception - it was breathtaking!!! Everyone of the guests are still going on about it being the best wedding they have been at and thought it was the best wedding venue they had ever been to!! A lot of our guests stayed for the two nights and the staff at Kinnitty put on another amazing buffet meal for us that night which was just what everyone needed. I have absolutely nothing but genuine praise for everyone that works there, especially Cavan. I would recommend the castle to anyone, for a wedding or even for a weekend away. You will not be disappointed and for any bride to be - if you want to feel like a princess on your wedding day, you couldn't choose any place better!! Thank you to Cavan and all the staff of Kinnitty and look forward to seeing you again soon.

Just a quick few words as a thank you and to show our appreciation for providing us with the most valued and memorable day of our life’s to date. One word in its self describes how our families, friends and we feel having booked out 2 days in Kinnitty castle Hotel, that word is “Outstanding”
Yes, the grounds are breath taking the rooms are a piece of Victorian class and the “food” in three days I never heard 1 out of the 120 people complain, but none of this can be enjoyed unless you are made feel welcome and at home......
The staff at Kinnitty Castle Hotel are the typical pre-Celtic tiger Irish that we once knew and cherished. Smiling polite and can never do enough. Cavan, Andrew and their team make us proud to be Irish people again
Forget the American Dream.... Kinnitty Castle Hotel is the forefront of the Irish Dream, miss the opportunity to stay/see/eat or here, or be lucky enough to get married here, and you haven’t seen Irish history at its best or more importantly the true Irish “Failte” it’s great to see it back...

We were married over the Christmas period at Kinnitty Castle Hotel and everything was brilliant.  I couldn’t recommend this place enough for a wedding choice it was just perfect.  The Castle is amazing and for visitors visiting Ireland a real treat with Kinnitty village just down the road and the church in the village, a very picturesque setting with true Irish heritage. 
The staff at the castle were very friendly, kind and helpful and Cavan attended to all our wedding requests.  There was a delay at the church before we got married and the team at kinnitty were brilliant, keeping us calm with bubbly, very thoughtful and appreciated!  
The reception rooms at the castle are brilliant, with the Great Hall of the  O’Carroll’s being the perfect wedding location with the bar next to the dance floor (a wedding must) and the dungeon bar for late night / early morning drinks is great craic! 
The food was superb and all the rooms true medieval castle style.  Thank you for making our wedding a magical experience and we hope to spend every anniversary with you.  Thanks again to all the team.

Hi Andrew,
Just a quick note to say thanks very much for the fantastic day Diana and I had on the 20th. We couldn't have asked for more from you or the staff, ever since we started planning with you there was nothing too big that you couldn't accommodate, I’m sure at times we melted your head with questions and little queries about this that and the other but in fairness to you, so much of the stress for Diana and myself was taken out of it by the professional way you dealt with us! 
The night we came into you for the tasting we were blown away by the food Anthony cooked, and the guests reacted in a similar manner, my uncle (who is quite the food critic) has been raving about the beef since! 
During the day the staff of the hotel were always on hand to help us in any little thing we needed which was wonderful, But having you and Cavan at hand all day left us wanting nothing. 
The accommodation was fantastic not just in the Bridal suite but also in all the rooms our guests stayed in. They all really enjoyed their time there. It’s hard to describe one single thing that made the day so special as there were loads of little touches that culminated in a lovely feel to the whole day.

I just wanted to drop you a line to say thanks a million again for such a great weekend. 
We loved every minute of our wedding day and and the day after. All your staff were fantastic and everyone has commented on how helpful and nice everyone was. The rooms were spotless and so cosy it felt like a home away from home and thanks to Mary, Linda and all the cleaning staff no one wanted for anything. 
As for Clodagh and the girls at the front desk i couldn't of asked for anything else they couldn't have done enough for us through out the weekend. 
The food was amazing the night before the wedding, the wedding dinner and the BBQ the day after, and thank you for adding some extra food on for the BBQ for the late arrivals. Yourself and andrew were just fantastic and made everything so easy and took all the stress from us, we did not have one bad thing to say throughout the whole weekend from rooms, food, staff, music, ambiance, everything was perfect! Thank you for all the extras you gave to us over the weekend they were much appreciated. 
Thank you for making everything so easy for us we really had the best weekend ever and we will definitely be back down to you guys
for future events. It was definitely the best run and managed venue we have bee in in a long time.

We had our wedding in Kinnitty Castle Hotel and I have to say we had an absolutely fabulous celebration. 
All the staff made all our guests feel so welcome and the service in the hotel was outstanding. 
As an event manager for many years (and I've worked with many venues) the Kinnitty Castle Hotel team (particularly Cavan the wedding co-ordinator) 
were excellent and have made our day so special that it's now being talked about as being "the best wedding ever". 
We were so impressed with the level of service and the quality of food (excellent) and the overall venue itself. 
It really is exceptional and I would recommend Kinnitty Castle Hotel as a super venue for a wedding celebration (or any celebration!).

We celebrated our Wedding in Kinnitty Castle Hotel in August this year. 
My Husband had attended a wedding there many years ago and had always wanted to get married there, 
so it was an easy choice of venue to celebrate one of the most important days of our lives. 
From the minute we got engaged I knew that I wanted to deal with a relaxed, yet efficient Venue and Team. 
Andrew the General Manger and Cavan the wedding co-ordinator fulfilled that brief and ensured that everything ran like clockwork. 
Everyone we dealt with in the hotel was extremely friendly, professional and competent. 
We knew from the start that we were in good hands and that our day would run without a hitch. 
The wedding day was absolutely perfect, I can't say enough about how happy we were with everything, our guests were all very impressed and everyone had a ball! The food was amazing, and the head chef ensured that everything was just the way we liked it. 
The service was excellent and the bridal suite was huge. 
The day after our wedding, we had a BBQ for the two families and friends in the courtyard and Dungeon Bar and it was absolutely perfect, 
lovely and intimate after the craziness of the day before. 
If I was to do it all over again, I would, without a doubt, choose Kinnitty Castle again. 
We're already looking forward to going back for another visit.
Just wanted to say a massive massive thank for all your help with the wedding.
 We could not fault the Castle, everything was really lovely. 
The quirky charachter and charm of Kinnitty cannot be denied, 
it is a must see and if you are looking for something a bit different that allows for fun from the beginning to the end then Kinnitty is the place.  
All our guests thoroughly enjoyed their day too and had nothing but praise for the Castle and staff.

Some friends of mine noted that food was promptly handed around by staff which meant that guests didn't have to look for the canapes etc. 
The reception itself ran very smoothly even though photography ran over time. The food was of excelllent quality. 
Both family and friends remarked on the excellent portion size and speed at which it was served. 
The staff were very pleasant and polite. They were very attentive. 
the banquet hall was well decorated and well presented. 
My family and friends have not stopped talking about the atmosphere Kinnitty had. That's exactly what we wanted. 
We want to thank you for giving us the day that we wanted so much. We barely noticed the rain with such surroundings as Kinnitty!
We will definitley be back for anniversaries etc.!

Dear Cavan and all staff at Kinnitty Castle Hotel, 
What can we say only the biggest thank you to you all for making our day so special!
From the moment we arrived, the entire day and night was flawless. You allowed us to be 100% worry free because we knew you had everything completely under control.
Nothing was ever too much when we were organising the wedding, and on the day you went over and beyond to help us and to make sure we and our guests were thoroughly looked after.
We just loved the table in the middle of the courtyard for our reception drinks, with rose petals in the shape of a big love heart with the glasses of champagne in the middle…such a beautiful touch!
Cavan, you were so professional and we felt so calm knowing you were in charge, thank you for everything! The amount of our family and friends that remarked on how good the food was and how brilliant you were was incredible.
To anyone thinking of having their wedding at Kinnitty Castle Hotel, book book book, you will not regret it! We felt like royalty.

"We would wholeheartedly recommend Kinnitty to anyone getting married; the setting for a wedding is second to none. 

Overall, though, there were two aspects that really stood out in making it a great day. Firstly, there was the professionalism of the staff. They made us feel so welcome; no request was too demanding, including our last minute changes. They had all taken the trouble to know who everyone was and made a real effort with our six-month-old son who loved every minute.

The second was the food. All our guests raved about how they had never had such good food at a wedding. Everything was delicious, and even with seven courses there was hardly a scrap left on a plate.
If I had to go back, I would not hesitate for a second in picking Kinnitty Castle again. We'll definitely be coming back to stay and to relive some of our memories."

We are very grateful to all the staff of Kinnitty Castle for helping to make our wedding day so memorable.   We had such a wonderful time, and this was due in part to the staff of the Castle who were professional, friendly and warm.  All our guests were made to feel so welcome. Everything was perfect from the food to the flowers to the layout of the banqueting hall.  We cannot thank you enough and would recommend Kinnitty Castle to anyone.
